Trade Partner List

Reference for the Trade Partner List tab: its layout, table columns, connection values, search, filters, Column Display and row and selection actions.

The Trade Partner List tab is the first tab of the Trade Partners page. It lists every Trade Partner in the account, including your own company. For the steps to search, filter and archive, see Find and manage the Trade Partner list.

Screen layout

The Trade Partner List tab shows the count of Trade Partners beside its name, a search box, the filters Filter by TP Name(s) and Filter by Connection Status, the Add Trade Partners button, the settings gear icon, a table, and page controls (for example 1-7 of 7 items and a 20 / page selector).

The gear icon opens the Trade Partner tab of Settings (Master Data Settings > Trade Partner). Its options are described in Master Data Settings and are not repeated here.

Connection values

ValueMeaning
Wholechain ConnectedThe partner has a Wholechain account and your account is connected to it. You can send and receive full-chain traceability across accounts and use features such as Shared Items, Shared Locations, custom data collaboration, PO Tracker, the Ship Event Form and Labels.
Externally ConnectedThe partner is connected through another EPCIS/GDST system or a third-party integration. With EPCIS/GDST you can send and receive full-chain traceability. With a third-party integration, the partner can receive traceability data as that integration allows.
Not ConnectedThe partner is not connected in any way. You keep full control and can record traceability events on its behalf. An invitation can be sent so the partner can connect by joining Wholechain or through EPCIS/GDST (see Invitations).

The search box matches the Trade Partner name, the Trade Partner Identifier, the DUNS number and the PGLN. The table updates as you type.
