What archiving does
| Record | Effect |
|---|---|
| Location | A Location that has active inventory cannot be archived; the item appears greyed out. In the selection bar, the selected Locations are archived only if none of them has active inventory. |
| Location | Archiving a Trade Partner archives its Locations too. See Archive and restore (Trade Partners reference). |
| Location | When a Trade Partner is archived, all aliases are removed from the partner and its Locations. Documents tagged with the partner or its Locations stay in the Documents tab, but the Trade Partner and Location tags are removed from them. |
| Location Group | Deleting a group cannot be undone. The Locations in the group are not deleted. Removing a group shows Location group removed. |
Master Data Settings > Archived lists archived items in the tabs Trade Items, Documents, Location and Trade Partners. It is described in Archived.
